The City will allow free dumping of yard debris for citizens of Cascade Locks. The gate is open the last Thursday of the month from 12:30 to 3:00 PM. The burn pile is located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 105 NE Herman Creek Lane.

Snowplow Plan

City of Cascade Locks Public Works Department Snow Removal plan:  The Public Works Department begins plowing City streets when the snow level is two inches deep or as circumstances require.  The street snow plowing schedule is broken down into three priority sections:

First Priority:         Cascade Ave., Watts Ave., Benson Ave., School St., Oneonta St., Wasco St., Venture St., Regulator St., Tahoma St., Edgewood St., Belle St., Sternwheeler Drive, and Spelling Place.
Second Priority:    Adams Ave., Ruckel St., Wheeler, Shahala Drive, Chinookan Drive, Windsong Drive, Sheridan Street, Warmsprings and Warco Drive and Wyam Court.
Third Priority:        Forest Lane (to Wheeler Street), Herman Creek Lane, Katani Lane,  Pleasant Dr., Hammond Ave.,  Sunset Ave., Cragmont Ave., Walnut St., Crest St., Riverview Dr., Clark St., Lewis St., Lewis Circle, Bailey Gatzert, Lakeside Dr., Hassalo St., Harvest Queen St., Taylor St., Sadie B, Mary St., Moody Ave, and NE Columbia Gorge Way.

Cramblett Way, John Quincy Ct., Mtn. View Drive, Eva Lane, and Cascade Housing parking lot are all private. The City does not plow those areas.

Please note that Parking on the Public Right of Way is PROHIBITED during inclement weather conditions.
Vehicles parked in violation may be towed at owner’s expense.   Your cooperation in this matter makes it easier for the Public Works crew to keep the streets clear of snow and debris.
